Taking place in early June, Thurlaston's annual carnival is the largest event in the village calendar.
The event starts with a parade of floats, led by the Carnival Queen, and Princesses.
The carnival features events such as dog-training displays, football tournaments, music, country dancing, brass bands and, a prize draw, and cake competition.
