Thurlaston Mothers' Union
Thurlaston Mothers' Union is part of a multi-national organisation who's values are grounded in Christian care and concern.
It has encouraged the Celebration of Marriage Service in National Marriage Week and uses money it raises at the Thurlaston Carnival to support Chalet Holidays for families who otherwise would have no holiday, and towards a relief fund to help in case of disaster.
It also helped give Easter Eggs to homeless children and arrange an alternative to hallowe'en.
With support for literacy and development projects in Malawi, Sudan and Burundi and a parenting project locally; the group is actively contributing to society.
