Leicestershire Animal Aid
Situated just outside the parish of Thurlaston, The Animal Aid rescue centre provides accommodation for 75 dogs and 30 cats.
The Association operates a non-euthanasia policy where no animal is put to sleep unless on veterinary advice.
Whatever the reason for an animal needing care, LAA is committed to providing the animals with the care and sanctuary they need, for as long as they need it.
It also runs a Petfinder Service in conjunction with BBC Radio Leicester - to reunite lost pets with their owners.
