Parish Church Baptisms & Marriages
How to access the Baptisms and Marriages from the Thurlaston Parish Church records online.
The baptisms and marriages recorded in the parish registers (1587 to 1837) and Bishop's transcripts (1566 to 1855) are available from the Church of the Latter Day Saints International Geneological Index. To access the information do the following:
- Go to www.familysearch.org
- Click on the link at the top of the page marked SEARCH.
- On the page that opens click the link on the left to International Geneological Index.
- You are presented with a form and should see a box marked 'Region' towards the bottom of it. Select British Isles in this box.
- On the next line enter a Batch Number (see below).
For baptisms the batch numbers are c058861 or c058862.
Adult baptisms can be viewed by selecting Other in the box marked Event on the form.
Some, mainly infant, deaths can be viewed by selecting Death/Burial in the box marked Event on the form.
For marriages the batch number is m058861.
